PROBLEM
Even after summer screening interventions, head quality, tip burn and harvest consistency were still below target. Greenhouse temperatures were not being driven down hard enough during the day or night, leaving plants under low-grade thermal stress. Without measurable feedback on each adjustment, the growing team had no way to know which actions were actually moving the needle.
ECOSENSE INTERVENTION
As outdoor weather softened, we recommended bringing greenhouse temperature as close as possible to 24 °C during the day and 16 °C at night using the ACs. The day temperatures were maintained around 26 °C and night temperatures were brought down to around 15 °C. Each recommendation was tracked through the EcoSense platform with directly measurable outcomes for screening, head quality and waste.

RESULTS
Tip burn incidences dropped sharply; head quality improved and harvests became more consistent. An immediate 9% improvement in yield was recorded between weeks 36 and 37. Waste per module fell from 20 heads lost to 5 —
a 75% reduction. Monthly yield grew from 2,154 heads in August to 6,560 projected in October — a +204% increase across the period.
